GuildGrape Harvest Update April 2008

We are pleased to report the results of the 2008 harvest.  Total yield this year was 3,655 tonne (approximately 70% up on last year) or 4.67 tonne per allotment.  The quality of the Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were higher than the previous two vintages.  Overall we are very pleased and proud of this solid result given the record heatwave this season, and the significant loss of fruit that this caused.
