'My best days are when the Risk, Audit and Compliance team comes together and works collaboratively towards a common goal.'
At Guild, it's our top priority to make sure our people are supported in a range of ways through our health and wellbeing program. This includes flu vaccinations, health checks, and skin checks, fitness/step challenge.
We prefer to take a proactive approach to wellbeing, especially when it comes to mental health. Our partnership with our EAP provider, Uprise offers practical tips and support to help our people or their family when they need it. Our partnerships includes access for all staff and their immediate family to the Uprise platform. It gives our people options to choose support that suits their needs with quick modules, coaching support and therapy, in addition Uprise offers multiple webinars per month on various topics that you can optionally attend.
We also come together as a Group each year to recognise and participate in R U OK? Day, hosting morning teas with invited speakers and ambassadors to learn more about what we each can do to support each other when we need it most.
We describe ourselves as having a continuous learning culture and a culture that allows our people to innovate and to take chances and create possibilities. To support this, each year our people sit down with their leader to have an in-depth discussion about their career objectives, and create a development plan for the year ahead to support our people to achieve their goals.
The way we work at Guild creates great opportunities for our people to get involved in a wide range of activities. We support self-paced learning through a massive library of online modules, development through on-the-job or experiential learning, and we encourage our people to attend industry events to up-skill on relevant topics.
Balance is important at Guild. We offer flexible working arrangements (where possible) to support diversity of our team members lives at the same time as ensuring support to our customers and business requirements.
At Guild, you can request a flexible working arrangement to help you balance how, when and where you work with your personal circumstances.
We love to acknowledge hard work and a job well done. We love to celebrate our success wherever we can, whether that be in teams, across teams or as a business. We celebrate key milestones through our #NAILEDIT awards, our peer recognition program, service awards, and our incentive programs.
Plus, a high-five or a celebratory morning tea never goes astray at Guild!
We offer great access to discounts with many of the top retailers on the latest goods - including laptops, mobile phones, electrical products, furniture, corporate health insurance, travel insurance and much more.
We also offer employee discounts on our products, whether it be car or home and contents insurance, and superannuation, or some legal services. Our team also have the options of salary packaging and novated leases.
We're lucky and proud, because we know that the work we do every day servicing our customers has a direct impact on the livelihood and wellbeing of communities around Australia. On top of supporting our customers, we love to get around a good cause and raise some money and awareness.
Year on year we support Very Special Kids by participating in the 24 hour Treadmill Challenge and in many of their other activities. Plus, we often have morning teas 'for a cause' in which our team members organise a fundraising morning tea for causes that are close to their hearts.
We're also excited about cultivating new communities within Guild Group to support our people in many different ways to grow. A great example is our Women in Guild community. The group aims to support the career development of women at Guild Group, be a channel for women to explore issues particular to them in a safe and supportive environment, be a network for connection, sharing stories and support to have fun and to encourage women to lead.
